cookies

I know it’s been almost a week since I last wrote, but we’ve been busy around here! Forgive me?? Brandon and I made some cookies today, too bad you can’t smell them through the screen, ha ha. I went out of town the whole weekend (I’ll write about that later!) so I’m trying to play catch up. Jaden was Mr. Mom for Easter and did an awesome job but alas, no pictures. :) I’ll take pictures of the kids in their Easter gear probably later on this week. If it doesn’t snow.
Really quick before I post a bunch of pictures–this is for those of you who are font freaks like me. :) I love me some fonts. Here are some free ones that I found through another blog. They have the funniest names for the fonts, I was just laughing as I downloaded a whole bunch of them. http://www.geocities.com/freescrapbookfonts1/. You never can have too many fonts. Wow, that sounds really nerdy. :) Go and get some, you know you want to.
Okay, here we go with some pictures. Last week was so warm and springy so we spent lots of time outside. One day we played in my parents’ backyard and the kids had a blast. Annie was so funny climbing up the stairs to the top of the slide, then she’d turn around and go down the slide on her tummy, landing with a SPLAT! at the bottom. It was hilarious! I think she did it over and over again like 30 times.

Brandon and I pretended like I was a fisherwoman and he was my big fishie that I caught. He was a whopper!

They had fun playing in the dirt too, helping Grandma pull weeds and dig around. Annie “helped” for a little while but then she just plopped right down in the dirt and kept trying to eat the “flowers” and the dirt. Look at her little “chubby thins!” (that’s what we call chubby legs and thighs in our family).

Here’s one of Brandon’s cute feet in the dirt. He found a bunch of worms and really helped Grandma get the weeds out.

Well, I need to go color with Brandon while Annie’s still asleep, so I’m gonna run. Happy Tuesday!!

First of all, those cookies look so good. Are they really that good, or are you just that good at taking pictures? Love the photos of the kids too. What a life of smiles…kids and cookies. It doesn’t get better than that.

Yummy. I want to take a cyber bite of those cookies.

question… do you know a good site to get those cute photo borders? ya know, the scalloped edges or the turned up corners like in your header? I’m spending way to much time searching for some good ones.
