Mother’s Day ’07

Happy Mother’s Day! Jaden and the kids got me some beautiful flowers (I love daisies) and some very nice presents. At church, my favorite thing was when Brandon went up with the Primary and they sang several songs about mothers. He did a great job and was so cute up there, waving and singing. This was the first year he could go up with the Primary so it was a sweet moment. We spent the evening with our families and took a bunch of pictures–thanks to my little bro Ryan I got to be in some of them!! I feel so lucky to be a mom (even on those tough days) and love my two children so much. I’m also thankful for my mom and for all that she does for me, for my sweet mother-in-law who treats me as her own, for my grandmas…all such great women who I definitely aspire to be like. I love you!!

I’m glad that Brandon did well at singing. Emma, however, did not. She had her fingers in her mouth the whole time and stared down at the ground. Sigh…

Primary kids singing! That is what i always envision on Mother’s Day. There was none of that in our ward…the musical number was “God Help the Outcasts” Long story, but once it’s heard, it makes it understandable.
