We had a fun 4th of July 2007! On Tuesday we spent the day at Jordanelle boating with my extended family–part of the annual family reunion. The kids were awesome and we all had a blast! My camera took a snooze while I played, so I need to get some pics off of my mom’s camera. I’ll admit, it was nice not worrying about it getting ruined in the sand or water…
But…..I did take loads of pics on the 4th. We skipped the parade to sleep in (boating left us exhausted!) and Brandon slept over at Grandma and Grandpa’s…so we got some stuff done here at home and then headed over to a yummy teriyaki salmon BBQ (mmm, delicioso!) and to do sparklers and watch the fireworks at their house.
It’s so much fun because we can see the whole firework show from my parents’ front lawn. We take sleeping bags and chairs and blankets and spread out on the grass. Hope you all had a wonderful holiday! Happy Birthday, America!

The whole firework thing is such a stress with young kids. Maybe next year I will camp it out on your parent’s lawn too. That is if we are still friends by then. Oh wait…distance makes the heart grow fonder!! BFF

I LOVE Annies face in the picture on top of your shoulders! I meant to ask you if you’d take some pictures of my kids. We can wait until a year from next June when you have more time.
