GTU

by Brooke on October 11, 2007

My mom and I and several friends (Mary, Cheree, Ashley–we missed you Julie and Kecia!!) got to be in the live audience at Good Things Utah yesterday!! It was so much fun. We went to see Wendi from “Posh Frippery”, a cute shop at Gardner Village. It was awesome to see the behind-the-scenes view of a TV show. and amazing how quickly the hour flew by. The ladies of GTU along with everyone else were really sweet and funny. We had a great time!!!
Here’s us sitting at the table with the ladies. :)

Some more pics–we couldn’t use a flash so they aren’t the greatest….

During a fun Halloween segment–notice how their shoes are off! I thought it was funny.
Nicea and Wendi showing some “Posh” stuff:

Afterwards, my mom and I got to take our pictures with Ellen. :) She’s shorter than I thought…

Looks like fun. Great pictures too. What lens did you use and at what settings? Did you use a tripod?

That’s so funny. I never watch this anymore. (The kids always get to watch their shows.) Anyway, I turned on GTU for a few minutes yesterday just in time to see the Posh Frippery segment and the panning on the audience for the birthdays. I didn’t even notice you guys! Could you see over all the red hat ladies?

Not surprisingly your pics turned out much better than mine! Did you watch it when you got home? How funny!!! I may have to steal some of your pictures if you don’t mind.

How fun!!! I miss that show. Wendi’s store is so cute. I heard she has cute diaper bags that I’ll have to go check out when I come home.

Mark–It felt good to let Angie cry on my shoulder.

Lynndi–I just used Program mode without flash and bumped up my ISO to like 800-1600 and just held it in my hand. I used my 18-55mm.

The Red Hat Ladies were fun. Kind of crazy. There was a lady behind my mom and I who kept tapping our shoulders and asking us questions about everything. :)

Mary, you can use the pics if you want.
