Halloween Party

by Brooke on October 29, 2007

I just had to tell you, I went to the dentist for a regular check up today and……NO CAVITIES! I am so ecstatically overly-joyed. I hate going to the dentist, pregnancy really does a number on my toothies. Now let’s talk about Halloween, a dentist’s favorite holiday…..

Last Thursday we had our ward Halloween party. I took some pics of the kids before we left in all their costume glory.

Brandon as Mr. Incredible, ready to save the world.

Doing his silly face…

Annie as “Rella,” her princess of choice. Her “glass” slippers (or slass glippers as Uncle Lew likes to call them) kept falling off, how appropriate. I thought she looked so adorable!

I did her hair in a little “up-do” with bobby pins and everything, it was so much fun! I sort of was pretending that we were getting her ready for prom….oh, nevermind!

Looking so demure, waiting for Prince Charming….

I always procrastinate when it comes to me dressing up, and I had some great ideas that just couldn’t happen at such last minute, so I dug into the dress-ups and found cat ears and a tail. I’m such a hypocrite, I hate cats!!! But I had to dress up in something. The kids thought it was hilarious that I put makeup on my nose and pretend whiskers. Jaden was really late coming home from work so he didn’t have time to wear anything. I think he should just be “Three Hole Punch Jim” from The Office…no effort necessary.
So here’s our little fam at the party. It was lots of fun and a good practice run for Halloween night!
PS: Thanks for all of your sweet comments about my last post, I really appreciate it. It helps with my struggling confidence at times!

I’ve been thinking about your teeth lately and how uncavity-ish they look.

Your kids look so cute in their costumes. I love Annie’s up-do. She looks so grown up…before you know it, you will be getting ready for the prom!

You’re kids are so cute! I love Annie’s dress. Wasn’t YOUR prom dress blue, just like hers? Time just seems to fly by she will be going to prom before you know it.
I wish I lived closer to you than you could take pictures of my kids then I wouldn’t have to hassle with JcPenney everytime. You do great work!

Brooke! I’ve been meaning to call you or email you, but figured I’d just leave a comment since I was checking out your blog! You are a great photographer, Brooke! I LOVE all of your work! I think I need to “shadow” you, not the other way around! Call me sometime… let’s talk photo stuff! Or let’s get our kids together!
