Post-Halloween Schtuff

by Brooke on November 6, 2007

I’m probably the last person on the planet to do my little post-Halloween report, but that’s okay. :)

Jaden dressed up as a version of Nacho Libre this year at work. He wore the mask and cape we got for Brandon when we went to Cancun in August. :) Top it off with red spandex and tights and we have a winner.

On Halloween night, it’s always a little crazy trying to fit everything in that we want to do. But it always ends up working out. The kids had a great time! Brandon ended up trick-or-treating around the neighborhood with his friends Sam, Will and Joshua and had an absolute blast!! They got so much stuff and were so cute running from door to door. Annie’s favorite thing was when the doorbell rang–she’d run to the door as fast as she could and was so excited to pass out the candy. She’d say “Here you doe (go), here you doe….” in her little Cinderella gown….

I didn’t take very many pictures, just wanted to kind of go with the flow. We always go visit the grandmas and grandpas, they always have fun treats and their houses look amazing with all the Halloween decor. I think Annie ate about 50 suckers and Brandon had candy for dinner….

With Grandma Judy and Grandpa Judd….
We ate some delicious soup and salad at Grandma Wendy and Grandpa Russ’s house to end the night.

It’s the kids that make Halloween fun. Their excitement is contagious. It did take a day or so to recover afterwards, however! :)
I was going to post a bunch of other pictures but apparently Blogger does not want to cooperate with me, so I’ll do it another day. Have a lovely day!

I love the Nacho Libre costume. Didn’t he have little undies over his “stretchy pants”? Just for fun? Your kids looked like they had fun. I’m with you- I didn’t take very many pictures because I just wanted to enjoy the night.

Yeah, we didn’t want the costume to be obscene, so no undies! :) I was going to be the nun, but was too lazy. Jaden did leap around his office and practiced his wrestling moves on unsuspecting co-workers. :)

I love Jaden’s costume. So hilarious. He looks much better in tights than I ever would. Looks like the kids had oodles of fun.

Jaden, you are hot! It is always unfair when the guys look better in tights than the girls do.

Great job with all the festivities and costumes!
