Going Green

by Brooke on March 18, 2008

Wow, two posts in a row. And I am planning on doing one tomorrow because it’s my boy’s 5th birthday!! Look at me go. :)

Just thought I’d post the pics from our little St. Patrick’s Day green dinner. I went the easy route and we just had green belgian waffles and green milk. The kids thought it was so cool. Jaden probably did too but he wasn’t as outwardly vocal about it. :)

Annie DID have little green stripes in her shirt and green in her flower clippies….I promise!

Jaden was hungry.

Look at all the lovely shades of green! Our fam.

After dinner we made these Pillsbury cookies with shamrocks, oh so festive. And nearly zero effort on my part!

Brandon entertained us with a few little St. Patty’s Day songs he learned in preschool and said that his legs were tired from bouncing his legs in the jig. :)

Jaden took the day off from work and is busy painting and grouting and doing stuff on the house. He’ll finish up the beadboard wall in the nursey and put together the crib tonight. What a guy!! Brandon is “helping” him. :) I’ve been busy sorting all of Annie’s old clothes and trying to salvage as many as I can for the baby-whose-name-has-not-been-chosen-yet and doing laundry like a madwoman. I’m trying to figure out what else I need to get before D-day in 2 weeks. Yikes.

Have a lovely day!

You are too stink’n cute. Can you just stop being super mom? Maybe # 3 will slow you down. Everyone that has seen Emma’s cape is in love with it and the idea. Way to go Brooke!

Brooke: Please delete that comment from Mark. Very offensive!!! :)

Cute pics! I’m thinking about you all the time as the big day is getting closer and closer!

P.S. I feel bad about the prego picture I posted on my GNO post! I seriously think you look darling! (You can blame Julie for it though, I got it from hers!)

Your silly picture is very…silly. Sounds like a fun day of green stuffs and things. I can’t believe you’ll have a new babe so soon. Can’t wait.

(Mary, you always blame me for everything.)

I have typed that word verification thing 4 times…I’m illiterate, I guess!
