BLAH

by Brooke on January 23, 2009

Too much to do, not enough free time. I’m a little bit stressy. I feel like my creativity has hit a brick wall and I can’t get anything done in the few moments of free time that I DO have, can’t seem to check anything off my list. Some deadlines are looming. I think my time management skills are malfunctioning. And I have a cavity. And the air is too yucky to breathe. And Jaden pinched a nerve and can’t move his neck very well.

But the kids were so excited to have hot dogs for dinner. Hot dogs. And pears. I love my kids. And Haylie was zooming around the kitchen in her walker thingie and making me laugh my head off. And it was Thursday today, which means my favorite show (The Office) was on and I laughed with Jaden. And it was also garbage day. How I love garbage day.

Please excuse my small venting session. SERENITY NOW!! (anyone a Seinfeld fan out there?!!?)

I thought I was the only one who had management skill malfunction issues. Hope you get your cavity filled soon- that should solve all of your problems!

You make me laugh. I love how you said that your “time management skills are malfunctioning”. What a clever way to put it! I maye have to use that one . . .

I am absolutely a Seinfeld fan and know exactly what you are talking about! I often yell that at the top of my lungs, too. LOL.

Wheeew. Deep breaths help me too. I like that you found lots of positive things amid the blah things of your day. I hope you feel chipper today!

THAT was venting? Ending a negative with a positive is counter balancing…very healthy.

Not a Seinfeld fan, but definitely an Office fan! And Greys, and American Idol, etc. etc

I hear ya…I’ve hit a slump too in my ‘productivity’. Being sick and breathing this nasty air doesn’t help!

Glad to hear the kiddies are easy to please. I am thinking upside down day tonight and doing buttermilk pancakes for dinner…

Love those days, and loved Haylie’s last pics. I am kind of copying your idea with Kenadee. I have to copy the best.

I love Seinfeld and The Office! I’m sorry we’re not there – Janson could fix the pinched nerve in a jiffy. Does it mean we’re soul mates if I love garbage day too? In Texas we have two garbage days a week – a double whammy!
