I {heart} faces–Week 4 "The Eyes Have It" entry

by Brooke on February 4, 2009

I came across this fun blog a few days ago where you can submit your own photos to fit weekly themes. This week’s theme is “The Eyes Have It” and I immediately thought of one of my favorite photos of Brandon from last winter. “Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes…..”

I love how it shows the snowflakes sitting in his LOOONG eyelashes (click image to enlarge). And his pretty green eyes. He had just played in the snow, so he’s still chilly and melty in this picture. :)

So go check out this fun blog and enter a photo! www.iheartfaces.blogspot.com

Oh that is an AWESOME picture!! I love it. The snowflakes in his lashes is perfect! I love the angle, his smile, the snow around him..it’s all perfect! Great job!

I am by no means a photographer. I enjoy photography, but don’t have the capability of pursuing it. My camera is about 5 years old! lol The clarity of some of the pictures I’ve seen is just amazing!

LOVE IT! And I’m having a lot of fun with my camera – took it outside today and took a bunch of shots around the yard – still have no idea what I’m doing but it was fun and they turned out pretty good – gotta love that camera 😉 Thanks again for all the tutoring.

Hi Brooke. Such a beautiful picture of your son!

I know that you are really busy, but I was wondering if you could answer a question for me? I am new to digital scrapbooking and tearing my hair out trying to figure out how to print a “badge” album. I ordered a badge kit from Shabby Princess, created my pages, but have no idea how to print the finished product. I am assuming there must be someway to print more than one 2.5″ X 3.5″ photo on a piece of photo paper!!! I am using Photoshop Elements 7.0.

I’ve tried using the SP tutorials and Googling how to print digital scrapbook pages, but nothing seems to be popping up regarding the specifics of the “badge” albums.

Feel free to email me at vkueter@kc.rr.com
Thank you in advance for any advice you might have or direction you can send me to learn more!

Your blog and photography are truly inspirational!
Valerie
