Someone in our house turned 6 today. It’s BRANDON!

This is the day I became a mother, something I had wished for and dreamt about since I was a little girl. Our lives were forever changed on this day, six years ago!

We love Brandon so much and feel lucky this smart, energetic, loving, fun boy is ours. 
We love Brandon so much and feel lucky this smart, energetic, loving, fun boy is ours. Brand has been so excited about his 6th birthday. He woke up way early this morning and was thrilled to see a small stack of presents and a birthday banner hanging on the wall, just for him. So we let him open his gifts before the girls even woke up.

Just what he wanted: The Wall-E Wii game. He got some other Wii stuff and some clothes from us. We will be having his official birthday party celebration on Saturday night with our families, so stay tuned for that!!
Today, we played his new Wii games, and went to lunch with Daddy at Chick-Fil-A, complete with ice cream. Took treats for his class and he was excited to wear the birthday crown. Tonight we’ll be having pizza! What a fun day.

Birthday hugs. Yesterday, Brandon had to write and illustrate a story for the “Writer’s Briefcase” as the VIP. This is his story. He got to read it to his class and it was totally adorable (I was in his class and got to watch).

Amazingly cute story! I am mostly dying of how chubbalicious, squishable, and huggable he is as a baby. I have never seen baby pictures of him. It is lucky I didn’t know you then. I would have stolen him. So cute!
Happy birthday Brandon. I still miss teaching him in Primary. He was always so insightful…and full of energy! I can’t believe he’s already 6.

What a cute boy- I cannot believe he is 6! Brooke, you realize how amazing your photos are, right? It is so obvious the pics you took- I am in awe. I totally loved what you said about walking into HS holding the hands of your little ones- I think that would freak me out a little bit, too. It gave me visions of you in you Senior Sweater.
