I’m just getting around to posting this but we are SO EXCITED!! In January I submitted this photo in a baby contest for a darling store called Sassy Baby in conjunction with Highlite Photography. I was definitely not planning on winning and almost didn’t even enter the contest. But I sent in the photo and waited for about a month…..and on Friday they announced that Haylie won in her age group (6-12 months)!! I was so shocked. Especially since they said there were nearly 600 submissions! What??? But we’re all thrilled!! And Haylie has no clue. 
So they’ll do a photoshoot in about a month and have the winners’ photos up at Sassy Baby for a year as their little models. And I guess we get some gift cards to that store and some other prizes, so it’s a lot of fun! So that is our exciting news. I still can’t believe it.

Of course she won! She is such a cutie. Interesting that one who takes pictures so well won a chance for someone else to take the pictures.
