This is my baby brother, Ryan. For the past two years, he has been faithfully serving the people of Mongolia as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, sharing with them the gospel of Jesus Christ, sharing his smile, sharing himself. We have missed him very much but have loved hearing the amazing stories and experiences he has had. Elder Ryan is my little brother but I look up to him in so many ways and I am fiercely proud of him and the man he has become. He has changed lives and has made Mongolia a better place. And I am so excited that we will get to see him TONIGHT as my parents and Ry arrive home from the other side of the world.
This is a picture my dad sent this morning—Elder Ryan overlooking his beloved country of Mongolia one last time. It made me cry. I’m thankful for missionary work, and for my family, and for the gospel, and I can’t wait to see my mom and dad and my baby brother tonight.

What an amazing young man! It is sad that people like your brother do not make it to the headlines. If they put good news like that on the news I would watch it.
