Unique Vintage Halloween Wreath

by Brooke on October 19, 2010

As one of the contributors at The Crafting Chicks I was able to share a project tutorial at the adorable blog eighteen25’s Spooktacular September last month, along with some AMAZINGLY CREATIVE bloggers. It was such a treat!

I created this unique vintage square Halloween wreath out of an old framed magnet board and pages from an old book (both found at the DI), and other random things I had at my house.

Here is the lovely before:

And here is where it is hanging now:

I love it!!!! It’s so fun to take something old/shabby looking and making it into something really cute. The frame and old book cost $5 together, and the rest of the stuff I already had, so it probably totalled less than $10 for the whole thing. I’m probably going to change out the middle circle for different holidays or occasions.

Check out my full, detailed tutorial over at The Crafting Chicks if you are interested!

I love the new blog. How is it going from your side? I really need to do this too. I am just afraid it will be too hard. People who use wordpress love it.
