Horsin’ around…

by Brooke on March 23, 2007

(Yes, a cheesy title. I know. Oh well.) There is a farm/field north of our house and they have some horses in a pasture that we drive past almost every day. So after Annie’s nap yesterday afternoon we decided to go on a walk to see the horses. It was such a nice day and we needed a change of scenery so off we went. When we got to the fence the horses came right over and hung out with us which thrilled Brandon and Annie. Of course I had my trusty Rebel so took tons of pictures. There’s a great long dirt road that was perfect for running and letting out energy (and getting cute shots of the kids). So here are some of my favorites:

So that was lots of fun. Then we went to our neighbors’ house where Brandon jumped on the trampoline for awhile.
Ahhhh, the carefree life of a kid. That’s part of why I love being a mom–it reminds me to take the time and enjoy life and be silly and to play and have fun. The messy house can wait for now.

I love those pictures Brooke. They all turned out so cute. I especially love the sepia one from behind of them holding hands. So cute! Sounds like a fun day.

I am relieved that you keep posting my comments. I would be offended if you didn’t.

I rode a horse once on my mission. It is scarier than I thought it would be. That same day I also helped cut off moles that were growing out of control on cows.
