Brandon’s Wall.E art

by Brooke on January 16, 2009

The movie Wall.E is the latest favorite at our house for the last few weeks. Brandon goes through phases where he decides he loves a show and is consumed by it for a period of time, then he decides another one is his favorite. Wall.E is the star of the moment. Which is fine because I like it too. I love how the robots have such personality. The kids love to pretend–Brandon is Wall.E of course, and Annie plays Eve. Or as she calls her, “Ena.” Or as Brandon called her at first, “Heva.”

Brandon has even said that he is changing his own name to Wall.E and has signed a few of his school papers that way. :) I told him that was fine just as long as “Brandon” was on there somewhere.

Brandon brought this home from school yesterday and I was really impressed! He drew it from memory–he told Jaden he remembered it in his head. I love the little conversation bubbles. :) And his version of the “&” sign at the top. So cute.

This next one he worked on tonight. He was focusing so intently on it and declared this one to be much better. I love his attention to details and how he even imitated the font. :)

I just loved these! Maybe I’m biased but I think is a great little artist! He definitely doesn’t get it from me. I can barely draw stick figures. Anyway, just thought I’d share.

What an artist! Rosie loves to draw Hannah Montana and HSM right now, but you can’t quite tell from the picture who she’s drawing. Brandon’s got Wall-E and Eva down pat!

Total Artist, so cute. But I’m sure he gets his creativity from you!

For sure better than anything I could draw. I guess I better get the movie for my kids to watch. They are so deprived!

These drawings are really cute. He is a little artist. I agree he must not get this talent from you. I have several of your drawings from our college days as proof.
