A warmish snow day

by Brooke on March 1, 2011

Yesterday after school we all went outside and played in the snow for a little bit. It was beautifully sunny and pretty warmish, and the snow that had been super deep from a big storm over the weekend was beginning to turn into a wet slush. So Brandon and Annie thought they’d build their last snow-people of February. :)

A snow man wearing the George Washington hat we made for Brandon’s famous people school presentation. More about that later. :)

I love how Annie’s is a snow princess with a crown and a necklace. :) All her idea.

Haylie was excited about her pink snowboots and was being a cute little model in the snow. Yes, actual smiles here!!!

This one is my favorite!

And I am shocked but I actually whipped up a layout with the happy pics I took of Haylie. I can’t remember the last time I digiscrapped an actual page! Woo hoo!

While the snow is fun and all, however, I am most definitely looking forward to spring! I’m ready to put the snowboots away and break out the flip flops! Happy March 1st! :)

PS: My grandma made Haylie’s cute pink headwrap–we make crochet headwraps for little kids and babies as well as adults, just FYI!

So cute and fun to see a scrapbook page from you. I can’t believe your snow hadn’t totally melted yet.
